How to access Plant & Equipment settings

  1. Go to Asset Management

  2. Select your Plant & Equipment Register

  3. Click More

  4. Edit Settings

Project Access

Control where the register appears.

  • Show on all projects, or

  • Show on selected projects only

This allows you to restrict visibility to specific projects if required.

Allow register items to be assigned to projects

Enable this setting to allow plant items to be:

  • Assigned to a single project, or

  • Assigned to multiple projects

This is useful if the same plant is used across several sites.

Forms

Enable forms on register items

Turn this on to attach forms directly to register items.

You can add:

  • Inspections

  • Audits

  • Inductions

  • Other custom forms

These forms can reference the specific plant item.

Assignees

Enable register items to be assigned to individual users

This allows plant items to be assigned to specific users.

You can also choose to:

  • Display the assignees of a register item within the register view.

Follow-Up Date

Enable follow-up date

Adds a follow-up date field to register items.

This can be used to indicate when:

  • A review is required

  • Maintenance is due

  • An action must be completed

For example: setting a next review date.

Unique Identifier

Show register unique identifier

Displays a system-generated identifier for each item.

Example:
PLANT-123

This helps with tracking and referencing plant items.

Company Management

Allow companies to manage register items assigned to them

When enabled, companies can manage plant items that are assigned to them.

This is useful when subcontractors are responsible for maintaining or updating their own plant records.

See form data in your register

You can select important form responses to display as columns in your register view.

For example:

  • Display the Last Service Date field from your most recent Plant Induction Form.

This helps surface critical information directly in the register list without opening individual items.
