If you're setting up a new project or onboarding several subcontractors at once, the Bulk Company Upload feature in the Companies module helps you save time by importing all your company contacts in one go.
To bulk upload companies:
In the left-hand menu, go to Directory → Companies
Select More → Bulk Company Upload in the top-right corner
Choose whether to:
Download Template to fill in company details, or
Upload your own .csv file directly
If you're using the template:
Complete all required fields before uploading
Once the file is uploaded:
Entries with missing information will be marked as invalid
Duplicate companies will automatically be combined into one entry
After reviewing, select Bulk Import Companies to complete the upload
This process helps ensure your company records are clean, complete, and ready to use in BuildPass.
