  1. Log in to your BuildPass Admin account.

  2. Navigate to Site Diaries from the main menu.

  3. Select More.

  4. Click Manage Templates.

You’ll now be taken to the Site Diary template editor.

Edit the Site Diary template

Within the template editor, you can customise the diary layout and content:

  • Edit existing blocks
Update headings, descriptions, or instructions to better suit your site processes.

  • Add new blocks
Insert additional sections to capture information such as variations, delays, safety observations, or deliveries.

  • Reorder blocks
Drag and drop sections to control the order they appear when completing a diary.

  • Mark fields as required (if available)
Ensure critical information is always captured by making key fields mandatory.

Changes you make here will apply to all new Site Diary entries going forward.

Save your changes

Once you’ve finished editing:

  1. Review the template layout to ensure it matches your requirements.

  2. Click Save to apply your changes.

Your updated Site Diary template will now be used across the project.

Important notes

  • Editing the Site Diary template does not change previously created diaries.

  • Template changes only affect diaries created after the update.

  • Keep your template concise and consistent to make daily entries quick and reliable.
