Toolboxes in BuildPass are used to run on-site meetings where you can notify workers, record attendance, and document what was discussed.
Step 1: Open Toolboxes
Log in to BuildPass.
Navigate to the Meetings module.
Select Toolboxes from the menu.
Step 2: Create a New Toolbox
Click Schedule Toolbox.
A setup screen will open where you can enter the toolbox details.
Step 3: Enter Toolbox Details
Select the date and time of the toolbox.
Choose the toolbox type.
Add a description or agenda (optional).
Attach any relevant files if required.
Step 4: Choose Who to Notify
Click Invite Workers.
Select who should receive the toolbox notification, such as:
Workers signed on today
Workers inducted to the project
All workers
Step 5: Submit the Toolbox
Confirm your selections.
Click Send, then Send again to finalise.
Workers who match the selected criteria will receive a notification about the upcoming toolbox.
Step 6: Run the Toolbox
At the scheduled time, return to Toolboxes.
Click Run on the relevant toolbox.
During the toolbox, you can:
Take notes on what was discussed
Attach additional documents
Record attendance
Step 7: Mark Attendance
Select Mark Attendance.
Tick the workers who attended.
Click Save Attendance.
Step 8: QR Code for Attendance
After saving, a QR code is available.
Workers can scan this QR code to:
Confirm their attendance
Receive a summary of the toolbox
Workers who were not originally invited (for example, late arrivals) can also scan the QR code to be added to the attendance record.
What Happens Next
All attending workers will receive a toolbox summary
Attendance and notes are stored for future reference
