Site Induction in BuildPass

A site induction is the process that new workers undergo when they arrive on-site. It introduces them to the specific safety practices, procedures, and protocols of that particular site.

How Site Induction Works in BuildPass

The induction process is typically initiated by scanning a QR code and includes the following steps:

  • Completing the worker profile

  • Completing the templated induction

  • Uploading any required Certifications

  • Signing onto relevant Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS)

  • Signing on for the day

In BuildPass, the templated induction and the required Certifications can be customized to suit the specific requirements of the project. Additionally, the SWMS a worker signs will have been submitted by their employer and approved by the builder.

The BuildPass induction module ensures compliance with health and safety regulations while helping to mitigate the risk of accidents on-site.
