Previewing an induction allows you to review the template content and structure before workers complete it on site. This ensures the correct questions, requirements, and settings are in place.
Previewing an Induction Template
Step 1: Select the Project
Log in to BuildPass.
Select the project you want to review.
Step 2: Open Induction Templates
Navigate to Safety.
Select Site Inductions (or Company Inductions, if applicable).
Click More and choose Manage Templates.
Step 3: Review the Template
Click the three vertical lines next to the induction template assigned to the project and select Preview.
Scroll through the template to review:
Questions and content
Required acknowledgements
Any configured requirements
This view represents what workers will be asked to complete during induction.
Updating an Induction Template
If changes are required:
Make updates in Manage Templates
Click the three vertical lines next to the induction template assigned to the project and select Edit.
Once the desired changes have been made, click Save template.
Updated templates will apply to future inductions according to your project setup.
Previewing inductions through template management helps ensure workers receive the correct information before starting work.
