Accessing Photos
Log in to your BuildPass account. Once logged in, navigate to the module containing the Photos feature.
Understanding the Image Sources
In Photos, you will find a variety of images sourced from different sections within BuildPass. Notice the labeling above the gallery that specifies the sources of these photos, such as site diaries, Forms, Notices, Defects and Actions. Photos from different sections are uploaded in distinct ways. Admins can upload images directly within BuildPass, while workers contribute their images via task attachments that are subsequently linked to the Photos module.
Exploring the Camera Roll of Progress Shots
The Photos section essentially functions as a camera roll, showcasing progress shots from your project site. Take a moment to browse through the gallery to get an overview of the available photos.
Filtering Photos
To focus on specific photos, use the filtering feature.
For instance, if you only want to see photos uploaded by the site manager in the site diary, you can remove the other sources.
However, it is recommended to review photos from all sources initially to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the site's progress.
Viewing Details of an Image
Click on an image within Photos to view additional details.
The details will include information about the source from which the image was uploaded.
For example, it may indicate that the photo originated from a Form.
Accessing Specific Form Entries
If you click on the link provided with a Form image, you will be directed to the corresponding Form entry.
This allows you to investigate further and gain more context regarding the image.
Leveraging the Benefits of Photos Admins can enhance the usability of the Photos module by adding titles and descriptive tags to images. This organizational feature helps team members quickly understand the context and purpose of each photo.
