Visitor sign-on allows non-workers to register their presence on site while maintaining visibility and access control.
Step 1: Access the QR Code
Open the BuildPass app on your smartphone.
Tap Scan QR Code.
Scan the QR code displayed on site.
Step 2: Select Visitor Sign On
After scanning the QR code, select I’m a Visitor.
Step 3: Verify Your Phone Number
Enter your mobile phone number.
A verification code will be sent to your phone via SMS.
Enter the code to continue.
Once verified, you’ll proceed to the visitor details screen.
Step 4: Enter Your Details
Fill in the required contact information:
First name
Last name
Email address
Step 5: Select the Reason for Your Visit
Choose the option that best describes why you’re visiting the site
(for example, “Visiting a student” or another listed reason).
Step 6: Review and Confirm
Check that the information you’ve entered is correct.
Tap Confirm to proceed.
Step 7: Complete Visitor Sign On
Select Visitor Sign On to continue.
Step 8: Acknowledge Any Site Requirements
You may be shown a message regarding:
Construction card requirements, or
The need to be accompanied by someone who holds one
Read the message carefully before proceeding.
Step 9: Finalise Sign On
If you meet the requirements, tap Sign On to complete the visitor sign-on process.
You are now signed on as a visitor.
