How to sign on to a BuildPass project
Step 1 — Scan the project QR code
Open your phone's camera and scan the QR code displayed at the project site. This will open the BuildPass sign-on page in your browser.
Step 2 — Select your role
On the landing page, select I'm a worker.
Step 3 — Choose how to continue
You'll be given the option to download the BuildPass Worker App via the App Store or Google Play, or to continue in your browser. Select whichever option suits you.
Step 4 — Enter your mobile number
Enter your mobile number and input the verification code sent to your phone to confirm your identity.
Step 5 — Complete your worker profile
You'll be prompted to create your worker profile. Enter your personal details as required.
Step 6 — Select your employer
Select the company you are employed by from the list provided. It is important to select the correct employer, as this determines which SWMS you will be assigned to sign on to later in the induction.
Step 7 — Complete the induction
Work through the remaining induction steps, answering any questions and reading any information required as part of the project induction.
Step 8 — Upload your certifications
You will be prompted to upload any certifications required for the project. Any certifications you have previously uploaded will already be stored in your Certification Wallet and available to use again on future projects.
Step 9 — Review and acknowledge your SWMS
Review the SWMS assigned to you based on your employer selection. Once you have read through it, mark it as read and confirm to proceed.
Step 10 — Complete the site induction
Work through the site induction created for this project. Read all content and complete any required questions.
Step 11 — Sign on
On the sign-on page, select I will work safely according to the site safety rules, then select Sign On to complete the process.
Returning to site
Once your induction is complete, you won't need to go through it again for this project. On future visits, simply scan the QR code and select Sign On.
