The Drawings module lets you browse, open and navigate drawings for a project from the admin dashboard. This article covers how to find a drawing, how to navigate inside the Drawing Viewer with pan, zoom and rotate, and how to switch between drawing versions.
Why use the Drawing Viewer
The Drawing Viewer gives you a fast way to inspect plans on screen without downloading files, and keeps details, version history and linked items alongside the drawing itself.
Before you start
You will need admin access to the project. For sorting, searching and filtering the drawings list, see How do I sort, search and filter drawings as an admin?
Step 1 — Open Drawings
Go to your project and select Drawings in the sidebar.

Step 2 — Find your drawing
Use the folder tree on the left to browse folders. Select any folder to filter the list to its contents. Switch between Grid view (thumbnails) and List view (table) using the toggle, or use Search to find a drawing by name.

Step 3 — Open the Drawing Viewer
Select a drawing thumbnail or row to open it in the Drawing Viewer.
Step 4 — Navigate inside the drawing
Pan — click and drag to move around the drawing.
Zoom — use your scroll wheel, or a two-finger gesture on a trackpad.
Fit to Width / Fit to Height — use the preset buttons to reset the view.
Rotate — use the rotation button in the toolbar to rotate in 90 degree steps.
If the drawing is a multi-page PDF, all pages are accessible within the viewer.

Step 5 — Switch versions and view details
Use the Version selector in the top header to switch between revisions. The sidebar tabs give you Details, Versions, Linked Items (defects and actions connected to the drawing) and AI Analysis.

Moving between drawings
There is currently no next or previous control to move directly from one drawing to another inside the viewer. To open a different drawing, return to the Drawings list and select it there.
