Overview
You can now choose which forms display a “Last Completed” timestamp on public links.
This makes it easier for anyone opening a form via QR code or public URL to quickly see when it was last submitted.
What’s New
Control visibility from the Forms tab
There’s a new setting in the Forms tab that lets you decide which forms should show the Last Completed timestamp on public links.
Visible on public forms
When enabled, the Last Completed timestamp appears at the top of the form when accessed via a public link or QR code.
Also shown in QR code form lists
If you’re accessing forms through a register item QR code, the timestamp will also appear in the forms list view.
How to Enable “Last Completed” on a Form
Go to the Forms tab
Find the form you want to update
Open the form settings
Toggle Show Last Completed on Public Forms on
Save your changes
Once enabled, the timestamp will immediately appear on:
Public form links
QR code access points
How It Works
The timestamp is project-agnostic
It shows the most recent time the form was completed across all projects
Why it works this way
We’ve kept this simple on purpose:
Register items can move between projects
Forms can be linked to different projects over time
Project-specific logic can be confusing in the field
This ensures the timestamp is always clear and consistent.
Note: We may introduce more granular options in the future (e.g. per-project visibility).
When Should I Use This?
Use this setting when:
You want users to know how recent the last form submission was
You’re using QR codes in the field and need quick visibility
Form completion timing matters (e.g. inspections, checks, maintenance)
It’s especially useful when multiple people interact with the same form over time and need confidence that the information is up to date.
Why This Matters
Clearer context for field users
Anyone opening a form via QR code can immediately tell how recent the last submission was.
Better QR workflows
Especially useful for teams that rely on:
QR codes for form access
Register items in day-to-day operations
Helpful for non-P&E setups
For teams not using Plant & Equipment (P&E), this adds valuable context to register-based workflows.
Summary
The Show Last Completed setting gives you a simple way to add context to public forms. It improves visibility for field users and makes QR-based workflows more reliable and transparent.
