How do I close out or resolve a defect?

Close out a defect with ease. This guide provides step-by-step instructions to finalize and resolve defect issues.

Step 1: Navigate to Defects

  • Click on "Defects" on the left hand side menu under the Quality assurance section to access the Defects page.

Step 2: Select the Defect

  • Select the specific Defect you want to close out or resolve.

Step 3: Change the Status

  • Click on "Change status" on the upper right section and select the desired status for the defect.

  • Update the defect’s status based on its resolution:

  1. Resolved: Indicates the defect has been resolved successfully.

  2. Blocked: Means the defect cannot be resolved at the moment but is not cancelled.

  3. Cancelled: Indicates the defect is no longer relevant and has been cancelled.
