Step 1: Accessing Assigned Defects

  1. Check your email inbox for a notification about the assigned defect.

  2. Open the email and click on the provided link to access the BuildPass platform.

  3. Log in to your BuildPass account using your credentials.

Step 2: Viewing Defect Details

  1. After logging in, you'll be redirected to a page displaying all assigned defects.

  2. Locate the specific defect related to the company

  3. Click on the defect to view its details and documentation.

Step 3: Rectifying the Defect

  1. Review the defect details, including any attached images or documents.

  2. Assess the defect and determine the necessary rectification steps.

  3. Leave the BuildPass platform temporarily and proceed to rectify the defect on-site.

Step 4: Notifying BuildPass of the Rectification

  1. Return to your email or the BuildPass platform after rectifying the defect.

  2. Draft an email or use the provided comment section to inform BuildPass that the defect has been rectified.

  3. Include details to indicate the resolution.

  4. If necessary, attach relevant files, such as updated plans or reports, to support your update.

  5. Optionally, mark up the attached file to highlight specific areas of interest or changes made.

  6. Send the update to BuildPass.

Step 5: Review and Resolution

  1. BuildPass will receive the update and review the actions taken to rectify the defect.

  2. They may communicate with other parties involved in the project, such as brick workers, if needed.

  3. If the resolution is verified, BuildPass will mark the defect as resolved in their system.

  4. You will receive a notification confirming the resolution of the defect.

Step 6: Checking the Status of the Defect

  1. Return to your BuildPass account.

  2. Access the assigned defects section to view the updated status.

  3. The previously assigned defect should now be marked as closed or resolved.
