SWMS Library in BuildPass

The SWMS Library allows you to store Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) for import into multiple projects, reducing the need to request the same SWMS from a Company for multiple projects.

Issuing a SWMS Request

Once the SWMS Library is enabled, you will have three options when requesting a SWMS from a Company:

  • None – No SWMS is required.

  • SWMS for this project – The SWMS is required only for this project.

  • SWMS for the library – The SWMS is required and will be stored in the Library for future use.

SWMS Review Process

The review process for a SWMS remains the same. Once a SWMS in the Library is reviewed, that review will be applied to all projects where the SWMS has already been associated.

Importing a SWMS from the Library

On any new project, simply import a SWMS from the Library by adding the Company to the project and selecting the SWMS from the Library.

Signing SWMS on Site

The signing process for SWMS remains unchanged. Workers can sign SWMS on-site by selecting their employer when they arrive.
