How Administrators Can Upload SWMS Documents for Workers or Subcontractors in BuildPass

Administrators using BuildPass have the capability to manage SWMS (Safe Work Method Statements) documents to ensure worker compliance, whether dealing with subcontractors or internal team members. This provides flexibility and control over the document workflow. Step 1: Navigating to the SWMS Section

  1. Log in to your BuildPass account to access your project home.

  2. In the "Project home," click on the "Safety" tab to expand the options.

  3. Select "SWMS" from the available options.

  4. Click on "Upload SWMS" to proceed with uploading a document.

Step 2: Uploading SWMS Documents

  1. Choose the company for whom you are uploading the document from the dropdown list.

  2. Drag and drop the document into the designated area or click to browse and select the document from your files.

  3. Name the document appropriately for easy identification.

  4. Assign a status to the document (options include: Waiting Review, Reviewed, or Changes Requested).

  5. Optionally, mark the document if it requires a signature from workers or if you wish to assign it to specific workers.

  6. Click on "Upload SWMS" to complete the process.

Uploading SWMS Documents for Subcontractor Workers

Administrators can upload SWMS documents on behalf of subcontractors, enabling their workers to review and sign them. You are not restricted to having subcontractor contacts upload these documents themselves. This process ensures that administrators retain oversight and can directly facilitate compliance for subcontracted workers' safety documentation.

Uploading SWMS Documents for Internal Workers

To upload SWMS documents for your internal workers, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the SWMS module in BuildPass.

  2. Select the option to 'Upload SWMS.'

  3. Add the relevant SWMS documents for your workforce. This method allows administrators to provide necessary safety documentation directly to internal teams, ensuring that all workers can easily access and acknowledge the SWMS as required. By utilising the upload functionality within BuildPass, administrators can manage SWMS templates for both subcontractors and employees efficiently, ensuring adherence to safety protocols while simplifying the document management process.
