Do companies have to re-upload documents for each project?

Understand which documents companies need to upload per project and which are reused across BuildPass.

Companies working across multiple projects in BuildPass may be required to upload different types of documents depending on their purpose.

Project-Specific Documents

Companies must upload project-specific documents separately for each project. These typically include:

  • SWMS

  • Safety Data Sheets

  • Other documents that relate directly to the scope or risks of a specific project

These documents can vary from project to project and must be reviewed in the context of each site.

Company-Level Documents

Companies do not need to re-upload insurances for every project.

  • Insurance documents are stored once at the company level

  • They can be reused across multiple projects

  • BuildPass automatically tracks expiry dates and sends reminders when insurances are about to expire

This helps reduce duplicate uploads and keeps compliance up to date across all projects.

Summary

  • βœ… Project-specific documents must be uploaded per project

  • βœ… Insurance documents are uploaded once and reused

  • βœ… BuildPass manages insurance expiry reminders automatically
