How to Suspend a Worker’s Permit in BuildPass
Open the relevant permit.
Click the More menu.
Select Suspend Permit.
Enter a message explaining the reason for the suspension
(for example: “Total fire ban — please do not undertake hot works”).Confirm to suspend the permit.
The worker will be notified that their permit has been suspended.
How to Resume a Suspended Permit
If site conditions change (for example, a fire ban is lifted):
Open the suspended permit.
Select Resume Permit.
Resuming the permit allows the worker to continue work without needing to resubmit a new permit application.
