How to Suspend a Worker’s Permit in BuildPass

  1. Open the relevant permit.

  2. Click the More menu.

  3. Select Suspend Permit.

  4. Enter a message explaining the reason for the suspension
(for example: “Total fire ban — please do not undertake hot works”).

  5. Confirm to suspend the permit.

The worker will be notified that their permit has been suspended.

How to Resume a Suspended Permit

If site conditions change (for example, a fire ban is lifted):

  1. Open the suspended permit.

  2. Select Resume Permit.

Resuming the permit allows the worker to continue work without needing to resubmit a new permit application.
