Workers can apply for permits for themselves and others. It is also possible to nominate only specific workers who can create Permits.
By default, any worker on a project can apply for a permit. However, BuildPass allows you to restrict permit applications to specific workers.
To set up these restrictions:
Open Settings and ensure you're in the correct project.
Navigate to Permits and locate the Authorised Workers for Permit Requests section.
This field will show who has the ability to raise a permit. If no workers are selected, all workers can apply for a permit.
If you would like to limit permit requests to certain Workers you can list them here. Please make sure you keep this list up to date and don't miss any workers or Subcontractors you have on site.
If a worker without permission tries to apply for a permit, they will receive a notice informing them they lack the necessary permissions. They can contact the site manager to request access.
