Default Permit Access
By default, any worker on a project can apply for a permit.
Workers can submit permit applications for themselves or on behalf of others.
Restricting Who Can Apply for Permits
You can limit permit requests to specific authorised workers if required.
To configure permit request permissions:
Open Settings and ensure you are in the correct project.
Navigate to More settings, then Permits.
Locate the Authorised Workers for Permit Requests section.
Review the list:
If no workers are selected, all workers can apply for permits.
If specific workers are listed, only those workers can raise permit requests.
โ ๏ธ Important:
Keep this list up to date to ensure all relevant workers and subcontractors who need access are included.
What Happens If a Worker Is Not Authorised?
If a worker without permission attempts to apply for a permit, they will see a notification explaining they do not have access.
The worker can then contact the site manager to request permission.
