Step 1: Accessing the Data

  • Open BuildPass and navigate to the section or table containing the data you want to export.

  • For example, let's consider the example of exporting form entries or Sign-on data so that you can report on the number of hours Workers attended your site in a month

Step 2: Locating the Export Option

  • Scroll down to the bottom of the table displaying the data.

  • Look for the "Export to CSV" button. This button enables you to export the data to a comma-separated values (CSV) file, which can be opened in Excel.

Step 3: Exporting Form Entries

  • Suppose you are viewing a Form table in BuildPass.

  • Scroll down to the bottom of the checklist table.

  • Locate the "Export to CSV" button.

  • Click on the "Export to CSV" button to initiate the export process.

Step 4: Exporting Sign-On Data

  • Similarly, if you want to export Sign-on data from BuildPass, click on Sign ons on the left hand side menu under Safety.

  • Scroll to the bottom of the sign-on list.

  • Look for the "Export to CSV" button.

  • Click on the "Export to CSV" button to export the sign-on data to a spreadsheet.

Step 5: Confirming the Export

  • Once you click on the "Export to CSV" button, a file will be generated containing the data you selected.

  • Depending on your browser settings, the file may be automatically downloaded or you may be prompted to choose a location to save the file.

  • Choose a suitable location on your computer to save the exported CSV file.

Step 6: Opening the CSV File in Excel

  • Locate the downloaded CSV file on your computer.

  • Open Microsoft Excel or any other spreadsheet application.

  • Use the application's file open feature to browse for and select the exported CSV file.

  • Click on the "Open" button to load the CSV file into the spreadsheet application.

Exporting data from BuildPass to a spreadsheet is a straightforward process using the built-in "Export to CSV" feature. By following the steps outlined in this guide, you can easily export checklist entries, sign-on data, and other tables to a spreadsheet format that can be opened and manipulated in Excel or similar applications.
