How Do I Update a Register Template?

Easily customise and update your register templates for better organisation and reporting.

To update a register item, follow these simple steps:

  • On the left-hand side of the screen, navigate to Registers and select the register you want to update.

  • Click on More and choose Edit Fields to begin making changes.

  • From here, you can rearrange the existing blocks by dragging and dropping them, or add new blocks to the template.

  • For example, if you want to add a new block like "Make and Model," simply add it to the template.

  • To ensure a block appears in the table view of the register report, click on Show in Table. If you don’t select this option, the block will not be displayed in the table.

  • After making your changes, hit Save.

  • If you don’t want a block to appear in the table view, you can add the block and leave Show in Table unchecked. This way, it will be visible in the report but not in the table.

  • Once you've saved the changes, go to More and click Re-sync Register to confirm and apply your updates.

For example, if you add a block labeled "Test" and leave it unchecked for Show in Table, it will not be displayed in the register report's table. However, if you decide to display it later, simply edit the fields, enable Show in Table, and hit Save. The changes will be reflected immediately after re-syncing the register.
